Pickling is an excellent way to preserve not only cucumbers but other vegetables, fruit and even eggs. Learn a bit of the science involved with pickling, several canning techniques, and lots of tips to make good products your family will love. Instead of paying $8 for a jar of pickled asparagus, make your own and enjoy a tasty spear in a Bloody Mary. Make your own delicious bread and butter pickles for summer sandwiches. Watch several live demonstrations, including making fermented pickles and pickled eggs. Ask your questions, build confidence, and be inspired by new ideas.
